On Friday 25th March, we celebrated Harmony Day! One of our students welcomed us with a lovely Kaurna welcome once we were all outside. Classes were able to show their traditional and cultural clothing, and had the opportunity to share where their family is from. It was so wonderful to see all the wonderful cultures that make up our community. Students then got to join in on a story time before heading back to class for a performance from another student – a dance from her culture – and sharing presentations and cultural artifacts. What a lovely way to celebrate Harmony Day!
