The primary class was visited by the Keep South Australia Beautiful team. Together, they discussed the life and movement of a piece of litter after it reaches the ocean. They then formed groups where jobs were allocated to scour the school site for litter. They recorded their findings and discussed the possibilities to reduce this type of litter. The other group discussed the importance of composting food scraps. Keep South Australia Beautiful offered suggestions to improve the schools methods of composting. We look forward to introducing some of these suggestions in the near future.
