Learning Expo at the end of term 2 showcased our learning journey and focused on our inquiry statement….. ‘the diversity of marine environments is vital to humankind‘. This was explored and demonstrated through our creative arts drama, music and dance home group demonstrations, sharing of our inquiry process and thinking journals and many other examples. It was great to see so many families supporting students to practice talking about their learning in all areas with a focus on the development of our questioning, feedback and reflective skills. We received many positive comments and feedback from families who noticed the difference in the quality of the learning conversations, engagement of their children in the process and the outcomes produced.
Thank you to every one who came along to support. The depth of conversations among parents and children supported students to have an opportunity to talk about their learning to adults other than their teachers!
