On Tuesday, the Easter Bunny hopped by Felixstow Community School for an early visit! The Juniors enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the classrooms and then the whole school participated in a range of Easter activities. We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter break.

On Monday, 22nd March, Felixstow Community School walked to the local community centre for an experience with SciWorld. The students learnt about space relating to our inquiry topic ‘Our Place in Space’, along with the opportunity to go inside a Star Dome to look at different constellations and the brightest, oldest and coloured stars we can see at night.

On Friday 19th, Felixstow students and staff celebrated Harmony Day. Throughout the day the students moved around in groups to participate in painting, nature mandala making, storybook reading, bookmarks, Sri Lankan dancing, and Harmony hands. On Thursday 25th February Felixstow staff and students headed to Woodhouse for a day of outdoor activities. Students climbed Challenge Hill which included a range of obstacles for them to try, they enjoyed a game of Disc Golf, and then had to navigate their way through the Labyrinth. A wonderful day was had by all!
