Felixstow Reserve Excursion

On the 25th of August, Felixstow students walked down to the Karrawirra Pari (River Torrens) with their tour guide Uncle Tamaru. Uncle Tamaru is a Kaurna elder who has been sharing his culture with our students and staff. On the excursion Uncle Tamaru educated us on the differences between female and male trees, the Kaurna names for different trees and plants and which plants could be used for medicine and food.
